Combining studies with work at H2k
Blog by Budkicker on Tuesday 15 June 2010I'm normally not such a blogger so i'll give it a try... The lasts weeks are full of work and exhausting... Why is that?
The last weeks, H2k Gaming teams needed to get booked for a lot of events for this summer.
The ones who say 'booking is easy'... they are wrong! It's actually pretty hard to book traintickets/ flightickets/ hotels/ bustickets and entrances for people that aren't you.
For every person you need to fill in all details like birthdate, contact information, names and surnames, ...
Furthermore we often need to book it on swedish websites or call to swedish hotels, who hardly understand english so it's very frustrating sometimes and it takes a lot of time.
Then there's all the other H2k work that is getting in my hands like the bombs in a war: every minute!
There's been a lot going on lately with every brand of H2k.
Also I've been at a games conference last week in the Netherlands: The Festival of Games. Where I have been speaking to several people together with my collegue Steven Vander Paelt (H2k Marketing Director).
That speaking and explaining everything about H2k... is very exhausting ;)
Furthermore i'm still studying in university, I can tell you that doing Marketing studies and doing related work for H2k is sometimes good, but again: you don't know everything ;)
So you need to learn A LOT! Actually right now, i'm in my exams... so combining H2k work with studies is a pain in the ass... but like always I'll survive!
Make sure you follow H2k very closely in the upcoming weeks because we are all very excited ourselves about our work we have been doing the last weeks!
